Ron Carter starts pursuing work in Indonesia

In 1971, Ron Carter visited Jakarta, developing long-lasting relationships with a local developer Pak Ciputra. What followed was a number of small buildings jobs which continued to grow. In 1976 the joint venture PT Herda Carter Indonesia was formed and continued until 1988 when it became wholly Indonesian owned. PTBK, Beca’s current Indonesian company was incorporated in 1996.

Today, if you were to look around Jakarta, chances are Beca has had some role to play in the buildings, roads, airports, wharves and smelters which help make everyday better.
