Full engineering services for Auckland’s Sheraton Hotel

The Sheraton Hotel in Auckland was New Zealand’s first international class hotel. Design and construction of this prestigious project was managed by BCHF, and full engineering services were provided. A new method of joining precast slabs and walls was developed to assist the rapid completion of this project. This system was subsequently copied by others who recognised the substantial savings available. It was also one of the first examples of modular construction.
