Expansion of the British International School, Jakarta

The British International School in Jakarta, Indonesia originally supported the education of four to 12-year-old expatriate children. As it reached its capacity, BCHF was appointed as the Project Manager and principal consultants on the development of a new school that would expand teaching facilities and cater for future growth.

All planning work, concept design (both architectural and engineering) for the new building was carried out by BCHF, as well as the land procurement of the new site, contract administration and the management of local consultants. Construction of the US$15 million school began in September 1992 and was fully completed in December 1993.
