Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre Design

The $65 million, purpose-built Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre was designed to attract all levels of competition, from state and national championships to international events, as well as to serve as a valuable community facility.

Beca provided a range of design and inspection services for the development of the Centre, including the electrical, mechanical, security, communications and fire services, as well as the pool water treatment and pool hydraulics systems. Integrated daylight monitoring and control systems provided significant energy savings with Beca completing its services on time and under budget.
