Spaghetti Junction: Central Motorway Junction

From 2003-2007, Beca was involved in the Central Motorway Junction (Stage 1 and 2) as part of the Freeflow Alliance, an extension to the work undertaken on the adjacent Grafton Gully.

Commonly known as Spaghetti Junction, it remains the busiest section of New Zealand’s motorway system. Originally constructed in the 1970s, the improvements helped to remove the constraints felt by commuters on the busy motorway system.
